Argentine Tango

We teach the original Tango that started in Argentina in the early 20th century.

It is not "Ballroom Tango" that you might see on TV.
It is not "stage" Tango that you might see on Broadway.

It is a very appealing, graceful, and passionate dance.
It offers a level of intricacy unlike any other dance form.
It is a wonderful dance to add to your repetoire. However,
some dancers get so enamored with this dance
it becomes the only dance they do.

This dance is recognizable by it's unique footwork between the partners feet. Also,
the partners never separate from each other.

Tango will help develop your leading and following skills and
help you in those areas in all other dances you might do.

We introduced Argentine Tango to the Austin area in 1996 after a
dance training trip to Buenos Aires, Arg.
