| The Foxtrot is often the first dance at any ballroom dancing event. Rather than a trot, the basic step is more of a glide or a saunter. Its simple nature can be initially deceptive; advanced Foxtrot is a joy to dance, and provides a foundation for other smooth dances such as Waltz and Tango. |
