Polka
is a rowdy, fast, entertaining dance that is not difficult to learn.
It is a popular dance in C&W clubs and German, and Czeck music events
that are quite common in Central Texas. Polka is sometimes incorrectly
referred to as a "Fast Waltz". Nothing could be further from
the truth. It has a repeated Triple Rhythm that can really move you
around the floor. |
